Beginning in the 2022/2023 season NW Elite FC launched a year-round Development Academy program for U8 to U10 players. We have seasonal registration options as well. The Northwest Elite FC Development Academy is for boys and girls born between 2016-2014 who are looking to advance their development and prepare themselves for the next level. The program is rooted in building enjoyment and fun in the game, while teaching players the technical fundamentals they will need and use as lifelong players! Our Development Academy members are led by our experienced and professional Elite coaches that are looking to create a fun, positive, and encouraging environment.
The main focus of the Development Academy is ball mastery and truly becoming comfortable with the soccer ball while being placed in areas to be forced to make decisions and problem solve. Our goal is to have players stepping up into the next step of their development (Academy, Pre-ECNL, ECNL RL, ECNL) loving the game of soccer, confident in their technical ability, and truly beginning to understand team concepts including individual responsibility to the team and spacing/positional awareness.
