NWEFC has implemented a grievance process to give a player, parent or coach a

forum to have their complaint heard and acted upon, if warranted, by the Board Grievance

Committee. Specifically, if someone has a grievance, they are to submit their

complaint using the the Grievance Submission Form at the bottom of this page to NWEFC

within 10 days of the event giving rise to the complaint. The Grievance Committee will

review the submission, and will determine if an investigation is required, and conduct an

appropriate investigation if required. Following the investigation, the Grievance Committee

will make a recommendation to the Board of Directors for a decision.

The Board of Director's decision is the final decision in all cases.

The person(s) filing the grievance will submit their complaint in writing on the

grievance form found on the NWEFC website to the NWEFC

Board Grievance Committee within 10 days of the event giving rise to the complaint.

After reviewing this information, the Grievance Committee will make their

determination as to whether an investigation is required. The individual who

submitted the Grievance Form will be notified by a member of the committee

regarding the decision to pursue an investigation.

For a grievance filing to be considered complete, all questions asked on the

Grievance Form must be addressed. Incomplete grievance filings (not providing

requested information) will be returned with a request for the missing required

information. The grievance filing will not be accepted until all the required information

is received.

The Grievance Committee will determine if an investigation is required, will then

conduct an investigation, if required, and make an appropriate response to the complaint.

After the investigation, if the Grievance Committee finds that it is a valid grievance,

the NWEFC Board will review the findings.
